Quail, quail...everywhere!

This spring, the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher's bobwhite quail laid eggs in the Conservatory. In late May, we had tiny quail chicks. They grew bigger behind the scenes and some were recently released back into the Aquarium. They were hesitant to get out of their cage...but after a few minutes, they tentatively walked out and began taking dirt baths!
